La Habra PTA Thrift Shop

A lovely family of 6 came by on our referral program. Schools were Imperial Middle, Las Lomas and Sonora. We were more than happy to help needy families during this difficult time.

Don’t forget about us at the PTA Thrift Shop!

The shop is looking for some help. We are short on volunteers. My husband’s health is not doing well so I am unable to work the shop. If you could work one day, half a day, it would be greatly appreciated. With schools open, we need to have the shop open to provide clothing for those families that are referred to us.

We will be closed this Labor Day. We will reopen on Tuesday at 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. We will close the shop early today due to the extreme heat we will have today.

We can use padded envelopes, peanuts or any plastic mailing bags.

We have a lovely assortment of items that have come in. We have clothing from premies to 4xl, housewares, purses, knick knacks, just a variety of items. We will be bringing out our Halloween decorations. Stop by for first dibs.

We are now open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday and Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

When making donations, please do not drop off items that have holes, stains, missing buttons or zippers that do not work, shoes that are falling apart and most especially televisions or large items that do not work. We have no room for these items and really we can’t sell these things. We need clean items that people will purchase and can use. Thank you for your consideration.

We are now open. We thank everyone who has donated items to our shop. We thank those of you who have made a monetary donation to our shop. It has been difficult these past couple of months but while we are not in the black we have managed to stay afloat. Please visit us at the shop or purchase an item on eBay or OfferUp. We could use assistance as we are behind on some of our bills. We have been having difficulty accessing our Facebook page so that is why you have not heard from us. Face masks are required at the shop for our safety as we are old and don’t want to get sick or get you sick. I personally have had a family member pass away from Covid 19 with his burial on Saturday plus 2 nieces who have contracted this virus. So for our safety a mask is required at the shop. Keep safe and hope to see you at the shop again.

With our shop closed since March 17 and limited income coming in to help pay our bills, please visit our items on facebook, OfferUp and eBay. If you find items of interest, we can open the shop for pickup. Help us get through this difficult time.
