Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the City of Laguna Beach will not have a fireworks display this year. Fireworks are illegal in Laguna Beach, including "safe and sane " fireworks, like sparklers. You could be cited with a misdemeanor offense and fined if you set them off. The Governor has issued an order closing all bars, a...nd closing the indoor operation of restaurants in Orange County. Outdoor dining, curbside pick-up, and take-out are still available. Per the State Health Officer, face coverings are mandatory in all public places where six-foot physical distancing cannot be maintained.
