We deeply appreciate all our wine club and customers who are so respectful and understanding during this challenging time. For those who haven't been here before, we are a family owned and operated boutique lakeside winery and bistro, located on scenic Hwy 46 West. When you come out to Lago, mum (Jeanine - chef/owner) is hand dicing organic estate-grown tomatoes for your bruschetta and cleaning EVERYTHING, dad (Joe "Giuseppe" - owner/proprietor) is cooking your housemade Sici...lian pizze in our brick pizza oven (that he built by hand) and serving you himself, and their daughter (Rhiannon - graphic designer/social media/tasting room face) is slinging wine and trying to sort out our new POS system (cuz the last one really was a p.o.s. )! So it's just us over here. No extra employees - no bus boy, no cleaning crew, no hostess to make sure you wear your masks as required by law, no manager to ask you (again) to pick up after your dog or to please not eat your giant sub sandwiches purchased elsewhere on our patio in front of other paying guests (would you go to a restaurant and pull out your Subway sandos to eat? C'mon, people, we're a bistro, not a park! ) So, grazie mille again for the love!
