He is the Founder and Executive Director of United in Film, an NGO that works with partner organizations and governments in low and medium resource countries to collaboratively provide filmmaking infrastructure, training, policy advice, and ongoing support. Harry Cherniak is also a Co-Founder of the African F...ilm Festival, which was launched two years ago in Kabale, Uganda. We are SO excited to share that our keynote speaker at this year's conference will be Dr. Elizabeth Anne Bukusi! Dr. Bukusi wears many hats, including Chief Research Officer Kenya Medical Research Institute, Faculty at the Centre for Biomedical Ethics and Culture in Karachi, Chair of the WHO Department of Reproductive Health and HRP Alliance, and more. Her primary areas of interest in research focus on sexually transmitted infections, reproductive health, HIV prevention, and... care and treatment and capacity building for research and programs.
