Our season’s theme of Love and Diversity continues on Saturday, April 10 at 7:00 PM Pacific Time with another uplifting virtual concert! Gold Coast Chamber Pla...yers, as part of the Bay Area Music Consortium (BAMC), presents A Celebration of Musicians Around the Bay, a virtual showcase of the extraordinary talent and diversity of our treasured Bay Area artists who have been heavily impacted by COVID-19. From Quinteto Latino’s brilliant blend of performance and advocacy, to the deeply expressive Indian music of Alam Khan, to the cutting-edge Friction Quartet and the next generation of brilliant classical talent, Stars Aligned Siblings, this concert is an opportunity to gather together from all corners of the Bay Area and celebrate these trailblazing performers and composers whom we miss experiencing live! Join the artists after the concert for a special After Party! *** What is the Bay Area Music Consortium? The Bay Area Music Consortium (BAMC) is a visionary partnership between four distinct organizations dedicated to presenting the finest in chamber music experiences: Berkeley Chamber Performances, Gold Coast Chamber Players (Lafayette), Mill Valley Chamber Music Society, and Noe Valley Chamber Music (San Francisco). With the synergy of combined resources, collective planning and a shared artistic vision, the Bay Area Music Consortium is able to present outstanding ensembles performing uniquely designed programs that enrich each of the individual member communities. BAMC was conceived and instigated by Gold Coast Chamber Players’ Artistic Director, Pamela Freund-Striplen. Join us on Sunday, April 10, 2021 | 7:00 PM Pacific Time Streamed via Crowdcast. The concert link remains active for one week after the performance date. For tickets and more info visit www.gccpmusic.com

Wouldn’t you agree we all need a little holiday cheer? We invite you to share a moment in time with us that we can do all together but separately. Join us in so...lidarity as Lafayette lights the night! We encourage everyone to turn on your lights this Sunday, Dec. 6 at 6pm. For the past seven years the Dana Green Team and Branagh Development have sponsored the twinkle lights up and down Mt. Diablo Blvd. Their donation helps the Chamber pay for the installation and maintenance of the lights that have a heartening effect on our downtown, giving us cheer and raising our spirits during the holiday season. Due to strict shelter-in-place guidelines we will not be able to schedule the annual It’s A Wonderful Life in Lafayette. However, on Sunday night, December 6, we will flip the switch to turn on the tree in Plaza Park and we invite you to have your holiday decorations up and ready to turn on at 6pm. Imagine how fun that will be in each neighborhood. Back at the Plaza Park, we’ll have the Holiday Snow Globe available for your Holiday Family Photo through December 25. The Lafayette Chamber wants to give a Twelve Foot shout out to Honey Bear Trees for donating the Holiday Tree in Lafayette Plaza each year. Come down to the Plaza after December 6th and take your photos in front of the Tree or behind the Lafayette Snow Globe. The Menorah will also be in Lafayette Plaza Park for the holiday season. Sad news reported this morning. Thank you, Alex Clark, for sharing your experience. Love Lafayette Police Officer Vince Ones and his wife lost their beloved Lucky Ones Ranch yesterday in the Solano Fire. Fortunately, their animals were saved! Lucky ones again! We congratulate the Ones for saving all the animals! We sincerely wish the Ones a quick recovery. For the past few years, Lucky Ones Ranch was a vendor at our Lafayette Art & Wine Festival bringing smiles and experiences to the Kid Zone in La Fiesta Square Lafayette, CA, right in front of Papillon Gourmet Coffee. Please consider making a donation to the Ones and their Ranch so their rescued animals can continue to be the lucky ones!
