Pregnancy can be an exceptionally rewarding time for women, and knowledgeable and experienced prenatal care is vital to the healthy development of your baby. Attention Patients! The 2014 flu season has officially begun and the flu vaccine is highly recommended for all ages. Drop in to PWOG to receive a flu vaccine between 8AM-Noon and 1PM-4PM Monday-Friday, 8AM-2PM on Saturday anytime in October and November. All women, and in particular pregnant patients are strongly recommended to receive this vaccine. The flu is highly contagious, and much more serious than the common cold. It is particularly dangerous to pregnant women whose immune systems can be depressed by pregnancy. It can take 2-3 weeks to build immunity, so please visit us soon.
