DRC and FARconnector are creating an affinity space for AAPI creators to release the trauma from the anti-Asian violence, make space to reflect and share, and to strengthen the community bonds necessary for our own reliance. The Teahouse will be led by Final Bow for Yellowface cofounder Phil Chan, and will include a movement meditation led by Mary Suk.

Calling all students! Are you a university or community college student? Are you interested in a career in the arts or arts administration? Do you need to earn money? We have good news! The Los Angeles County Arts Internship Program is back, starting April 1right in time for Arts Month. This year’s program will provide over 200 paid internships for college students at more than 140 arts organizations across LA County. In response to the county’s reopening guidelines, there are longer program timelines, part-time internships, and the ability for students to work remotely. Visit lacountyarts.org/internships to apply directly to the organization offering the internship. New positions will be posted on a rolling basis at the beginning of each month through August 2021. #LACountyArts #ArtsInternLA #ArtsMonth

How do people with disabilities experience a painting or a sculpture or an installation? Should artists and museums think more about the experiences of people with disabilities? Nice article about our latest report, Accessibility and the Arts: Reconsidering the Role of the Artist, by our Director of Research and Evaluation, Bronwyn Mauldin, and Center for Business & Management of the Arts graduate Katrina Sullivan.
