* Meet Dr. Alexander, one of our providers here at SCFHC. Dr. Alexander was born and raised in South LA. His mission in life is to serve God, give back and respond to his spiritual calling. Serving the South Central community is Dr. Alexander's calling, and we are happy that he is here sharing his gift with us. On January 5th Dr. Alexander received his first COVID-19 dose along with other SCFHC Staff. Dr. Alexander would like all of us to take COVID-19 seriously. He wants the community to know that the battle with COVID-19 is not quite over, but we have gained some new weapons with this vaccine. It is essential for people of color to follow this advice. In LA County, we are witnessing firsthand how COVID-19 disproportionately affects black & brown people in underserved communities. The number of COVID-19 cases and deaths will continue to rise in the upcoming weeks, but better days are on the horizon. Always know that SCFHC doors are open to you no matter your age, race, document status,or employment.
