Diversity,Equity and Inclusion are core principles of the work we do at @lacerafterschool. Thanks to our planning team for putting together our upcoming workshops. LACER staff will come together with the goal of developing a plan to help students think about, talk about, even do something about, the issues they are confronted with today. Our plan has three steps ~ First, we meet in small groups to brainstorm ideas about what we can do in our classes to promote equity and inclusion; second, instructors return to their classes and try out at least one of these ideas; finally, we return as a group to debrief our work and plan our next steps. #diversityandinclusion #stafftraining #workshops

Tools for Peace MS club held every Tuesday at 3-4:30 p.m. has a very special surprise in store this coming Tues. Feb 2, 2021. Abby Posner will be visiting for the first half-hour at 3:00 pm sharp to play a few songs that relate to COVID-19 and mindfulness.
