With leagues starting back up at Gable House everyone is eager to get their bowling balls ramped up. Cleaning/resurfacing, detoxifying, new grips, plugging balance holes, refitting... everything possible to get ready for the lanes. After such a long time away it’s important to make sure that our fitting is good, our grips are tacky, and our balls are clean so we can maximize performance! The day is finally here! Los Angeles Bowling Supply is open once again to help serve the bowling community! Our hours for the rest of this week will be 2pm-7pm..., Tuesday through Friday. Walk-ins are welcome, however appointments are suggested to help deal with social distancing. We are only allowed 2 customers in the Pro Shop at a time. Hello Los Angeles Bowling Supply friends and family! Well after 10 months and 3 weeks we have finally received word that Gable House has been cleared to reopen under an athletic training premise exclusively for league bowlers. This means that Los Angeles Bowling Supply will be able to reopen as well. There are still a few details that need to be worked out but we are tentatively looking at Tuesday, February 9th as our reopen date. I will keep everyone informed of our actual... reopen date. My new drilling machine is here and working come on in and get drilled

Hopefully today is our last day of using the Manti Te'o-model drill press (you know, you tell your friends it's real but it really isn't). New press in either today or tomorrow, and I'm chomping at the bit to get back to taking care of business!

Had to order a new drilling machine, should be here no later then Wednesday next week

My drilling machine motor stopped working not sure what I am going to do yet.

With Phill on the shelf due to his knee replacement last week and my schedule working Gable House's front desk, we will be keeping the following hours until further notice: Mondays 1:30-7:00 p.m., Tuesdays 1:30-7:30 p.m., Wednesdays 1:30-5:00 p.m., Thursdays 2:00-7:30 p.m., and Fridays 1:30-7:00 p.m. Also, I won't be taking any appointments on the weekends until further notice as I need what free time I will have to work on moving. Quick, off-the-wall question (and brief story) for you guys: I've taken a couple old bowling balls and made them into balls-and-chains for two grooms last year--my best friend, Richie, and Josh at the Gable House front desk. Both were met with very positive reviews. My question is: Would this be a service worth offering at the shop? I don't know how high demand would be, but I do get a kick out of making these gag gifts.
