What a difference a set of struts and springs can make on a tired ride. All the difference in the world.

Here's a perfect example of a well worn ball joint. You can see in the pic that what used to be a round ball is half worn and even the socket it fits into is worn away. One good bounce away from completely falling apart and causing catastrophic damage to the this car, other cars, people, etc. Luckily, my buddy (he just bought it) brought it in because he heard the knocking noise in the front end. This could have ended really bad!

So today we had a timing belt job on a 2012 Chevy Cruze and the Camshaft holder tool was not available anywhere (sigh), unless I wanted to wait a week to get it. Our customer needed their car, so in steps tool fabricator and mechanic extraordinaire, Josh Cohen, who came up with this nifty tool that held both cams in time to finish the job. The kid's a genius. Glad he's working with me! Job done! Customer ecstatic. It was a good day. #soproud #mechanicproblems #dontpanicweremechanics
