Something good out of the ashes. After pulling the baby grand out of the rubble and ash , and MANY hours of cleaning and peeling melted roofing and tons of burned wood that it was covered in, LOTS of coats of wax and a good vacuum, aside from scratches, it seems to have survived the fire. We are so pleased to have saved it! Plugged it in and it lit up and played, this has been a ray of hope of good things to come.

Prayer chain needed! Justines determination paid off, she dug and dug through the rubble and found the "black box" the dvr that recorded all the cameras and it looks to be in pretty decent condition. Need all the prayers we can that the hard drive is good and the authorities can retrieve what activity took place the night of the fire. Would be the best news ever to find out they retrieved video of the evening of the fire! Prayers please. We lost everything in the fire.

We are going to look a second time at a temporary location today and will announce later today if we take it and hope to be re opened with a little bit smaller menu for starts and of course our pasta mama and brick oven pizzas. If all our team decides its a yes I will announce very soon!

La Strada wants to thank all of your for your heartfelt condolences for the loss from the fire. We are actively seeking a temporary location to contnue business as usual until La Strada is rebuilt. We already have several temporary locations in mind. We will continue to post updates!

Sunday night and we have Pasta Mama for the last night till next weekend! Dee is pouring tonight from Watts and Deanna will be at the piano at 7 tonight, let's close this weekend off right, come join us where good friends, good food and good times come together!

Special board will have a limted brunch menu as well. The Mugnaini oven is staying in Clements it weighs 2000 lbs for one thing and it is a permanent fixture there , so we got another italian made wood oven for the new spot and will be bringing it in this week, things are coming together nicely. More exciting news to be announced too.

Progress on the new location is coming along nicely, with a little luck we will be able to open in two weeks, thats the goal. The new location will be open Th-Sun and is going to be operated by Executive Chef Lucia Cello Rogers. We are reducing the menu , she is working on that as we speak and of course many of our favorite items including prime rib on the weekends will continue. Pasta Mama station is almost complete and the faux painting looks amazing! This place has tons of old world charm and of course the same amazing food plus nightly specials as always. We look forward to seeing you all soon!

Executive Chef Lucia Cello Rogers, I have discovered, has more talents than just her wonderful cooking as Pasta Mama, she has been faux painting the walls in the new location all day today and all I can say is OMG!! Cant wait to announce where we are going to be and its turning out amazing. We will be able to accomodate parties there up to 75 people for the upcoming Christmas parties as well. I cant wait to announce and see you all soon!
