Veteran's day was yesterday, however its always a good time to honor and give thanks. We'd like to honor Professor "Kimo" with another THANK YOU for his service... and also for visiting LEVEL 3 to teach our students more about the lineage of our Kempo system. We hope to see you again very soon, Sir! See more
"Join me in practicing a mindful minute by taking 6 deep breaths in 60 seconds. Wherever you are, pause, practice, and reflect. How do you feel? I invite you to share your experience using #mindfulminute. Remember, #mindfulness begins with you! My classmates and I are looking to raise awareness around mindfulness and how it can improve mental health, by encouraging people to try a #mindfulminute, 6 deep breaths in 1 minute. We'll be launching it on social media on Oct 16 (1 ...minute, 6 breaths) with a photo for profile pic uploading, and a short blurb. It's also a podcast, website, and social media movement." --Sepideh Yeoh A long-time LEVEL 3 Martial Arts Performance student family member and Leadership trainer, Author, and Coach Sepideh Yeoh is encouraging everyone to stop for a minute and take 6 deep relaxing breaths to increase your mindfulness in her Mindful Minute campaign. She hopes everyone will use the photo here in their own profiles at least just for today, record yourself breathing or snap a photo of you, and post it with the above hashtags. Mindfulness is an extremely important yet rarely used human-skill that truly impacts our lives in so many ways. Learn more about Sepideh Yeoh here: https://sepidehyeoh.com/

One last reminder about our Vitalant Blood Drive on Saturday September 12th from 10am - 2pm in the space adjacent to Level 3 Martial Arts Performance - Moorpark. It's your opportunity to give the gift that literally lasts a lifetime. We hope to see you here. https://blood4life.org/index.cfm
Word of the month. Put effort into priming the pump and the water will rise to the surface. When the effort stops, the water sinks again and you’ll have no result - you’ll still be thirsty. Effort is continuous not temporary.
Reminder: Please help if you can. Your little effort goes a long way, truly.
