HORSE FESTIVAL POSTPONED TILL NEXT SUNDAY! After much thought and consideration for the safety of our membership and community, we are postponing our Horse Fest...ival to next Sunday, May 2nd due to expected substantial rainfall and cold temperatures predicted on Sunday. We have never canceled a Festival due to weather before, but all weather forecasts are predicting heavy rain. This will make our arena footing a muddy, unsafe mess for our demonstrators and temperatures in the 40's will make it difficult for vendors and spectators to spend 6 hours out in the elements. We realize that this will cause cancellations of some of our demonstrations, fewer vendors and possibly fewer spectators and we are sorry for any inconveniences this may cause. We did not come to this decision lightly, but safety is of utmost concern for everyone...including our animals. Please share this information! Gold Nugget Parade still happening this Saturday See more

Was it really that long ago?!
Billy and I had home room together in 7th grade. He suggested to me to buy headphones for my new stereo so I could listen to my Beatle records louder.
You KNOW you've done it!

John Lennon would have been 80 today. Four months from now, February 7, he will have been gone longer than he was here. 40 years and 60 days. #HappyBirthdayJohnLennon
My father (Wayne Charvel) and the Charvel Family send our condolences and prayers to the Van Halen family. My father knew Eddie when Eddie was just seventeen. E...d used to visit my dad's guitar shop "Charvel MFG" in the mid and late 1970s. It's been said a million times what an incredible guitar player Eddie was. I often say success is like a jigsaw puzzle. You have to have all the puzzle pieces to make a great picture, and Eddie had all the pieces in spades. He had a great sense of rhythm and timing, great phasing, killer tone, wild vibrato and great pitch, fast chops and played with fire and attitude, yet you could hear at times his sense of humor in his playing. The minute he started playing, you knew it was Eddie Van Halen. He had a signature sound and style, which is challenging to get as a guitarist. And of course, he knew how to write hit songs along with a live presentation from jumping up in the air with his trademark splits to his million-dollar smile. Just the name Van Halen sounds powerful; its the perfect name for a hard-rock band. He had it all. It saddens me to see my childhood guitar hero no longer with us. Eddie was the best hard-rock guitarist in the world. Thank God he had a son, who is an excellent musician. I've recently listened to some of Wolfie snippets, and the music sounds fantastic. Enclosed are some beautiful moments and pictures of my Father and Eddie with his wife at the time Valerie Bertinelli. And a picture of my self with Eddie and my brothers. I would have shared more photos; unfortunately, we lost everything in the fire. I wanted to thank Paul Gervasi for sending us these precious photos. Thank you, Eddie, for the years of great music and memories. May you rest in peace, my friend. Sincerely, Michael Charvel and Wayne Charvel (Wayne Guitars).
