Meet Thanvee. She enrolled in the Kumon Math Program at 4 years old and has continued for the past 9 years. She’s currently an 8th grader who studies ahead of her grade level thanks to the skills Kumon has taught her. While there are moments when the worksheets present challenges, she has built the confidence to continue learning how to solve new problems. Thanvee’s words of advice to new Kumon Students: Even though it gets hard and you may not feel motivated to do it someti...mes, stick with it because it will help you in the long run." Due to her perseverance and hard work, Thanvee was one of under 200 students selected from Canada, USA, and Mexico to attend the 2020 Kumon Student Conference. Thanvee also credits Kumon for teaching her the importance of consistency.
