Effective today, Trinity Transit has changed their schedule as follows: We’ve reduced our service due to the current pandemic. Beginning Monday, 23 March, we’ll be running our normal routes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. We will not have service on Tuesday or Thursday.

Please share far and wide. Due to delays in County and Hoopa funding, our service will be reduced effective March 1st as provided in attached flyer. We know this presents a hardship, but it's difficult to provide service with no money in the bank to pay employees and other expenses. We will do our best to at least provide these times of service until some or any funds are received. For our tribal rider base, it's important for you to let your Council know of your transportat...ion needs and how important transportation is to your livelihood. We are a non-profit organization and the County only provides us with 69% of our operating budget. My aunt was in coopers gulch playing Disc Golf, and some man still unknown followed her through coopers an...d when she told him she needed to go home he walked up behind her with a sawzaw Blade and stabbed her in her shoulder, neck, head, and side them strangled her and left her on the ground.(she’s still alive but she could have died, sorry I didn’t word it better) Edit: it is not the man pictured in the comments she said the man is younger. The police have some evidence (her clothes) and are trying to find the man also the man didn’t appear to be homeless. She’s describing him as more Hispanic looking

SERVICE UPDATE: - After Consultation with the Public Health Officer and the County Administrative Office, the Director of Transportation is limiting transit ...service to areas within Trinity County until further notice. Trinity Transit will only be running in Trinity County, beginning Friday, April 3, 2020. No transit travel across county lines will be permitted. The Redding route will run from Weaverville to Trinity Dam Blvd. The Willow Creek route will run from Weaverville to Salyer. Lewiston and Hayfork routes will be on their normal schedule. - Redwood Transit Service, part of Humboldt Transit Authority, has switched to their Saturday schedule, Monday - Saturday. No service on Sundays. - KTNET is running reduced service between Hoopa and Willow Creek on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. FOR ALL RIDERS: If you are sick or potentially contagious, please do not ride the bus. We are running on a reduced schedule to provide access to other essential services. Please help us keep getting you where you need to go by keeping our drivers healthy.

Due to weather advisories for the next couple of days, plan any travel wisely. Chance of snow may impact bus service from the coast, from the east, as well as locally. Be prepared in the event service must be suspended.
