As we all know the real estate market is really hot right now. Sellers are seeing multiple offers on properties that are priced correctly. However the new restrictions brought on by COVID 19 are a big question mark for what is going to come. That being said it isn’t business as usual for Maahs Real Estate Group. We feel it socially irresponsible to continue as usual. We want to protect our buyers and sellers. Going forward we won’t be holding open houses until this crisis... passes. We will be providing Matterport virtual tours for all our listings so people can tour a home virtually before they have to enter. We know that buyers have to enter so they can feel a house. With that we will ask that all who enter be free of symptoms. We will provide gloves and or wipes so people can open doors and cupboards. We ask that no one use the bathroom and children are held by the hand when they enter. We are happy to still tour homes with you but would prefer that we take separate vehicles. When that isn’t possible we have wipes and sanitizers in our cars and will ask that they are used after every house we enter. We value our clients and want to make sure we are all taking proper precautions to prevent the spread of this disease. This may make us lose a few clients but we hope it will insure the safety of those who choose to work with us. Be safe out there. Take this time to stay in your lovely homes, enjoy your family and love one another.

Some of these look like great ideas. However I dont think I would cook ramen or veg in the coffee maker unless I had to!

I'm all for improvements, however sometimes I want to sit in front of Home Depot and just shout NO! to people making bad improvements. If you are considering making a major change please give me a call and we can discuss if its appropriate for your house and how it can affect the future value.

When we think about moving we usually think about going to a larger home. However, just as many people are going to a smaller space (freeing up those larger homes). Regardless which way your going, downsizing your belongs along the way is smart.
