We’ve been having some Friday 3D fun with a residential remodel in Mission Hills. The project includes the renovation of a subterranean garage, landscaping, hardscaping, outdoor kitchen, spa, and multiple exterior living spaces.

Success! We love helping our clients with their sustainability goals! Here's to today's completion of LEED Silver Certification for a 108,000 SF interiors project in Orange County.

#awesomeclients We enjoyed a celebratory visit this week after our clients passed their final inspection and were starting to move in to their newly renovated and enlarged home in South Park, San Diego. This three-generation family of five has great, modern taste and they were very hands-on throughout the process. Even renting the house next door to (literally) oversee the contractor’s daily progress as well as working directly and tirelessly with vendors on much of the final finish selections. The renovations added a granny suite, created a much more open floor plan, enlarged the kitchen and dining areas, and strengthened indoor-outdoor connections. The design included several sustainability measures such as a car-charging station, semi-permeable paving, rain collection barrels and photovoltaic panels.

The Classical Academy Online Counseling Center is housed in a 12,000 square foot, 1950’s former Bank of America building in Escondido’s downtown core. The building serves as Classical Academy’s Cyber Café where online and independent study 9th through 12th grade students can receive one-one-tutoring and meet for collaborative activities. The school leadership desired a space for their high schoolers that felt less like a school and more like a corner coffee shop or the of...fices of a Silicon Valley start-up. In this high tech learning environment, students and staff move around the building and plug-in with their laptops in spaces that include small study carrels for one to four people, group counseling rooms for 10 to 20 people, casual seating within the large, light-filled counseling lounge and private and open staff offices.
