Newly added to our website - the Ginger Cottage Collection! https://kriskringlecarmel.com///categories/ginger-cottages These charming wooden ornaments are full of rich detail and fun hidden clues... zoom in on the product pictures and see how many symbols you can find hidden in the cobblestones! The ornaments can be hung or displayed standing, and can be lit from underneath by a Christmas tree light or table top display (sold separately). Look for additional styles to be released mid-year! #christmaseveryday

Are your decorations down yet? Or (like our family) will your Christmas collectibles be visible until at least mid-February?

This year, more than any other, we want to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to you for your support from your ‘likes’ online to your smiling (masked) faces in our shop! Back in March, as the realities of lockdown were sinking in, we worried that our 37 years of Christmas in Carmel were going to be undone by this one year of Covid. How do you plan for a year when things change day by day? How does a tourist town survive without tourists? Spurred by our fear of the unknown, we t...ook a deep breath and started building a website something we had always wanted to do, but never seemed to find time for. In just a few weeks, we were up and running! It has made our hearts happy to see online orders coming in from those of you who weren’t able to make it to Carmel this year. And as chief elf in charge of website design, I was delighted to hear Kris Kringle’s owner (my mom, Carol) complain that too many web orders were coming in over Black Friday weekend. (Website? Check!) We also loved seeing you in our shop once we were able to reopen Covid protocols may have reduced occupancy limits, but your Christmas spirit was still at full tilt! This year we have felt the love and support of our customers, community, landlord, vendors, and superstar employees it took a village, but we have survived. As we head into the new year, we feel very lucky to be a small business whose doors are still open, and we can’t wait to see you all in 2021 for more Christmas every day! ~Megan G., Chief eCommerce Elf http://kriskringlecarmel.com/

We've added new categories to our website to honor Family and Pets - our personalized ornaments and adorable signs can help celebrate the people (and pets) that have made this year bearable. Mache Santa with Tiki Bar (lights up) It's last call on this fun, summery Santa - we have ONE LEFT - so if you like piña coladas, mai tai suggest you act fast! (I know, I know! It was too much word play in too short a space. But I couldn't decide, so I just.... took a shot!)... https://kriskringlecarmel.com//mache-santa-tiki-bar-beach-

We are delighted to once again befuddle Carmel tourists who wonder why a Christmas store is open in June - because after months of Covid shut down our doors are open again! Following last week's soft opening, we wanted to share our new temporary store hours: Thursdays 11 - 4 Fridays 10 - 5:30... Saturdays 10 - 5:30 Sundays 11 - 4 As Carmel foot traffic picks up, we'll expand our hours, so stay tuned for updates. If you are planning a special visit to Carmel on a different day of the week, contact us in advance and Carol will be happy to open up for you! There are only 200 days until Christmas so there is no time to lose!
