Been quite the busy lately with long client meetings and providing tons of plans + specs to contractors. Slowing our roll today with some delicious dumplings. #happylunarnewyear #tgif

Still a well loved office project of ours that we hold dear to our hearts... a real nice client to work with. One of the design solutions we provided for this growing school office was how to split a large room in half to accommodate more staff. We incorporated a glass wall system by @teknion with gorgeous door pulls to make the new divided offices appear bigger and less closed off. The sleek desks were built by a carpenter based on our design sketches and we restained/reupho...lstered the existing side chairs bringing it back to life. A new hallway was also created and old carpet had to be replaced throughout the entire office with vinyl wood planks to add warmth and better air quality. Lastly, the school color was represented in the textured wall covering we chose to raise team spirits. When there’s harmony in a work space, motivation and productivity can only go up! See more

The Spanish meaning of Montebello, beautiful mountain, naturally influenced the design concept of the YMCA Courtyard. A strong connection to nature will create cohesion of natural materials and forms throughout the space. Ample seating and tables will be available in a setting that can accommodate a multitude of group sizes and zones. Oversized game-activities provide interaction and entertainment for all ages. A hand-painted mural of majestic trees and flowers will stimulate imagination and a sense of wonder. The new dream-like and welcoming courtyard will reflect the Y's brand logo and nurturing appeal while creating a lasting impression.
