Kreative Beginnings Children's Center

Our Infant/Toddler class was busy last week! Each day we have different age appropriate indoor & outdoor activities set up for the children. These activities give the children the opportunity to explore, develop their large and small motor skills, and engage in the world around them!

The Easter Bunny came to Kreative Beginnings and hid a bunch of eggs for our Preschoolers! Do you think they’ll be able to find them?

This is what hands on, play-based learning looks like. Notice how she decides to move on to a new activity at the end. Our philosophy allows the children to choose the length of time they wish to engage in an activity. She felt accomplished with her colors and was ready to move to playhouse. She will be 3 next month. (During COVID, we sanitize toys when the children is done with them. We always have two of each activity so we can rotate clean trays as they are finished.)

Great minds at work at the Creation Station! These future engineers have made everything from rockets to yo-yos!

KB families, past and present, I am posting today to ask us all to please work together and help one of our former families from Paradise. The Kraus Family lost their home and belongings in the Campfire. They worked hard to relocate and establish a new home in Berry Creek, where they were living happily once again. I’m so sad to say that that home was also lost this week in the Bear Fire. Unfortunately they did not have insurance and have lost everything they have wor...ked so hard over the past several months to regain. Any help would be greatly appreciate as we try to help them with immediate needs and also rebuild their spirits. The children are Liam age 7, size 7/8 and shoe size 1, Sam age 5, size 5/6t and shoe size 11, and Jayce 14 months, size 18/24 month. Jill and Justin are not asking for things for themselves but I know many personal items are needed. These are very kind loving people. Justin has a yard maintenance business and cared for our home in Paradise and has been caring for our playgrounds at the Chico center since we reopened.
