Latest closure/COVID update: Hello Krav Maga Academy Members, Since the Governor’s mandate that all gyms be closed in San Diego, we have decided to pivot back to Zoom. On the bright side, no more masked workouts! ... Below we’ll provide the full zoom class schedule, along with the link and password to be able to access the classes. We appreciate everyone’s ongoing support and understanding through these rough times, though it’s been hard, we will continue to do what we can to continue to enable everyone to learn and practice self defense. Hello Krav Maga Academy San Diego Members! We’re happy to announce that we are going to be reopening as of July 1st. While we are excited to be back, in light of everything that has been going on, we are making some accommodations to keep everyone as safe as possible. ... What does that mean? A new schedule, with breaks for cleaning in-between classes to ensure that the gym is as clean as possible and all surfaces are wiped down. Capped class sizes that will require online sign ups so that we can ensure everyone has plenty of room to work safely within 6 feet of each other. A new check in process with waivers that need to be signed daily, consenting that each individual entering the gym has not knowingly been exposed to COVID-19 as well as a forehead surface temperature check upon entering the gym. Face coverings are required upon entering and when each individual is within 6 feet of one another. Hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the gym Temporary closure of the showers and water fountain, but drinks will be available to purchase. All employees are required to wear face masks at all times. A temporary stop on boxing and jiu jitsu classes until students are allowed to make contact with one another. Big announcement! Starting May 25th, we will have online Zoom classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, every week from 5:00PM to 6:00PM led by our instructor, Anna. Closure update. We hope everyone is staying healthy and we know and we all know you miss training as much as we do but we are still working on renovations in the meantime and hope you all are as excited as we are to get back to it when we reopen.

While we are closed we are remodeling the gym! In a week we will be adding online content and fitness classes via Zoom. We will keep you all posted as we set up the processes! We want to thank everyone for their patience and understanding.

Krav Maga Academy San Diego: Response to Covid-19 To our valued clients, students, and friends. It pains us to do so, but after taking guidance from our public health experts, Krav Maga Academy San Diego will close its doors for group training immediately (March 16th) through March 31st,. This is not a decision that is taken lightly, however Covid-19 poses a distinct threat to the health of many of our community members and as such we take it seriously. As a small business t...here will be potential impact that affects the long-term viability of our gym. As such we ask that clients NOT cancel their memberships. We understand that each person has their own financial struggles and all such requests will be processed per the contract terms. We will provide a three-seminar series, free of charge, to those that do stay enrolled. These seminars will be led by head instructor Alex Trafton and will occur in consecutive months once we feel it safe to re-open our doors. We are concurrently working on providing an online or streaming training option and will update via social media and email accordingly. We strongly urge our clients to comply with CDC recommendations and to stay home as much as possible. It is possible to be asymptomatic and spread this disease which may prove life threatening to members of our community. This has the potential to overwhelm our medical system and increase the loss of life. As such we advise everyone to take precautions to flatten the curve of infection and help our dedicated medical professionals confront this virus safely and effectively.
