APDC2019/Sidex2019 Participants Dear Members of KADA, Please be prepared and make airline reservation ASAP if you are planning to attend May 8 thru May12 APDC2019/Sidex2019 event in Kangnam, Seoul, Korea.... Usually, it is considered a busy season ( highest airfair) for any airlines flying into Korea starting May 10- 15th. Fortunately, the event we are planning to attend is right before the season, but it is wise to have reservation in advance to have a cheapest fair. FYI: I just checked with both airlines (KAL, Asiana) thru various travel agencies , the seats are running out. As for now, we have a good number of dentist including KADA, ADA, CDA, and LADS members who will be attending the APDC2019/SIDEX2019. In 2019, KADA members are invited again for free of charge ( Regular registration is $200). To qualify for the benefit: 1. You HAVE TO be a member of KADA USA 2. You HAVE TO register through KADA USA 3. THERE WILL BE NO ON SITE REGISTRATION..means if you want to register in Seoul, they will charge you $200 no matter what, and which KADA USA can not help you neither. 4. KDA, SDA will only honor registration list from KADA USA 5. Attendee list will be sent to Seoul by April 30th or earlier, please act fast or you will not get the benefit. 6. Only first 10-15 will be invited to VIP Galas and other VIP events where only 4-500 invited among 25,000 attendees with great foods, distinguished people, and great K POP performances. Dear Friends and Colleagues of KADA, This is Pilseong Kim, 26th KADA President. I would like to extend New Year greetings to everyone. STUDY CLUB: First, KADA will start our own study group. One of them will start from 6: 30 pm, Wed, Feb. 27th, 2019, with the Topic Oral Surgery for General Dentist. It will be a 5 series lectures by Dr. David H. Kim,DDS, MD, Senior VP of KADA USA.... The course will help any seasoned, recent graduate dentist for their own practices. The fee will be $300 for all five series, and KADA Membership is included only for the early bird by Jan. 31st, 2019. (KADA membership normally $150 includes Free CPR, Infection Control/Dental Law classes). This program will be advertised to LADS members together since KADA is working together with LADS for study groups. CPR class will be on Tue, Feb 26, 2019 ,and it will be free to all KADA members. Finally, KADA MEMBERS are invited to participate in APDC/SIDEX 2019 in Seoul, Korea from May 8 -12. 2019 Please mark your calendar. http://www.apdc2019.org/ At the request of APDC/SIDEX2019, KADA has chosen 3 speakers from U.S. to present a lecture at the Convention, representing KADA USA They are Drs. Mo Kang (Chair, UCLA Endo Dept), Philip Kang (Director, Grad Perio, Columbia Univ.), and Joan-Otomo Corgel ( Past President of AAP, Advisor, UCLA SD) The registration fee for this event is $200, but will be waived for KADA members who registers through KADA email. The registration allows the participants to receive up to 10 CEU (ADA CERP approved) and will be invited to an exclusive VIP Gala where only 3-400 are invited amongst 25000 expected registrants. To get all those benefits, you have to register thru KADA, and there will be no on site registration for KADA members. We will let you know when will be the deadline since we are sending the list to Korean Dental Association directly. There will be many more exciting things KADA is planning for the year 2019.
