Dear Konjoe Customers, When we first opened Konjoe Burger, we sought out to provide you with a burger that was made using the best ingredients we could find, more specifically, meats that were pasture raised. As time went on, we started learning about regenerative farming practices and it's net negative carbon impact on the planet (Yes, this style of farming and raising animals actually pulls carbon from the atmosphere...mind blowing right?). It also yields food that is much ...more nutritious and less toxic than conventional factory foods. 2020's been a difficult year for all of us. This year has shed light on the economic and health disparities in our country. We've also seen the impacts of climate change get worse. The silver lining for our restaurant is that we have had the opportunity to think about our business, its impact on the community, and our planet. After much consideration, we've decided to make our food more accessible to everyone while supporting the very farms that are doing what they can to save our planet. Today we are launching a revamped menu that is more accessible, just as delicious and focused on supporting local farms. We have more planned in the coming weeks... -Beginning next week, we will be partnering with Spade and Plow Farms to bring a farm to table, seasonal and organic salad to the menu! - Later this month we will begin offering breakfast -In the near future, we plan to run specials that support our local day boat fisherman and regenerative ranchers Please join us in our mission in providing food that is better for you and better for our planet. Today the county is allowing restaurants to open for indoor dining at 25% capacity. As great as this sounds, for us it means that we can put three tables in our restaurant seating a total of 12 people. For now we are going to stick to take out because it doesn’t make economic sense to open our dining room at 25% capacity.
