100! Happy 100 Birthday to Cesar Morales, our grandfather. So honored & blessed to have him as a grandfather. He’s blessed to have lived 100 years. He’s had an incredible journey from witnessing many inventions such as the radio & television to the computer & cell phones. He has witness the evolution of flight and automobiles. He was there in LA during the Zoot suit riots. He’s been through the Great Depression. He’s seen many presidents and many wars. As some may already kno...w, he participated in the war of wars, World War 2. As a WWII veteran, he earned both the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. I remember one of the battles he told me about where he saved his platoon by taking out a machine gun bunker that was cutting them down in the Philippines. He said he would take out the pin from his grenades and time it, so it exploded in the air and they couldn’t pick it up and throw it back. His bravery also showed where he would VOLUNTEER for the POINT to lead them through the jungle! He was also part of the first troops to land in Japan after we dropped the atomic bomb. He would become an MP there. Through his service for our country, is how he obtained his US citizenship. He’s been always proud to have served this country and to become a US citizen. He once told me when the family came to America from Mexico they wanted to not only come for a better life, but that he wanted to assimilate and be an American and so he did and taught his children to do so. We are all proud Americans because of his journey here. He may have been a warrior in his life but he is such a humble loving person to me. I always get this master Miyagi vibe from him when we talk. I’m so blessed and grateful that my children have got to know him and be part of his life too! We love you Grandpa. Enjoy your special milestone. Happy 100th Birthday! You told me you wanted to reach it and you did and still walking!! #cesarmorales100 #moralesfamily #somanystories #realhero #patriot #ww2veteran #usa #armystrong See more

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! He’s the one who started us all in the fight game. Dad didn’t play any other sport. It was all boxing for him. He amassed an undefeated record for both the US Army and Golden Gloves. He taught me hard work pays off. He worked 16 hrs a day for 20 plus years and I never once heard him complain. It probably goes back to how he trained for boxing. I remember going with him to train. He would train, as if he was competing even though he was retired. I would go ...to the track with him and he would run for miles & or duck walk around the track doing boxing combinations! I remember ever since I was able to walk, he would train me to box. On TV fight nights, he would put his hands up and have me do combinations during commercials. He would take me to all the great boxing gyms in LA where he would train or be a sparring partner for some of the world champions (his ex coach was a trainer of multi world champion pros). He would take me to those gyms & have me box against the gyms kid boxing teams. They would place bets on us, I made pops lots of money. I remember the Main Street Gym, the Teamsters Gym, the Hollenbach gym and hanging out in the dressing rooms after major fights at the world famous Olympic Auditorium (its a church now). As a kid boxing was just something we did. It was like a game and I never thought to use it outside the ring, until I got older. Unfortunately, I didn’t understand or appreciate then what dad had shared boxing, as well as of many other things with me. It wasn’t until he left us, tragically in a car accident while of course, going to work did I truly appreciate what he did for us. Although I chose to do other sports, thank you for all the lessons & life lessons dad. I was so blessed to have you as a father. I’ll try to continue to honor you until we are together again! Love you and Happy 76th Birthday! See more

Master Monique Boore and her son Michael has fought against our team in the past; however, today they are going through the biggest fight that no parent wants to go through. Michael has been recently diagnosed with a brain tumor and they need our prayers. It’s a heart wrenching time. Please help us pray for his healing.

Flashback Friday. Back in 2013, we up until then had only color belts to take to nationals. Our very, very first black belt to compete at nationals was Ms. Claudia Navarrete. She not only dominated and won nationals that year, she made history for us and Team USA Taekwondo history by being part of the first ever USA Cadet National Team! Ms. Claudia went in to be a Junior World team alternate before we lost her to college. She started the trend for us coaching at least one national team member per year. So proud of this young lady. A great athlete, student and even better person. #knockoutmartialarts #usanationalteammember #teamknockout #taekwondo #tkd #fighter #family #fitness #ranchocucamonga #california
