I promised you all the occasional Boomer update on the Store page.... here he is, King of His World, as high up as you can get in our house (yeah, that’s the ceiling!) He’s doing well, has his gramma properly trained to serve him something every time he’s in the kitchen, lol!

This is it!!! The last day we're OPEN! Come on down before 5:30pm

Boomer, Mom, and I are continuing the clearance sale, everything is 45% off... Until we lock the doors on Saturday at 5:30pm We still have YARN!!! Magazines $1, Patterns $0.50, needles, great store models (sweaters, kids sweaters, scarves, shawls, cowls). The big center table and chairs, glass cube cases, and wire cubes are also for sale... Pretty much everything except Mom and Boomer are for sale, 'cuz you all know I will work for catfood money!!! :-D

The big push to finish up the closing clearance is on!!! We still have lots of yarn, needles, store models, all at 45% off....And magazines are $1 and patterns $0.50... We're going to be here daily 10:30-5:30 until it's done (no set end date but likely around the end of the month.)

Knitting By The Sea almost made it 40 years, but unfortunately we're just not going to be able to make it... This sale process is going to be fast, so if there's something that you're interested in come in sooner than later. All outstanding gift certificates must be used before the end of November.

I'm excited to announce a little something different... MorMerFolk!!! After years of people telling me I should make and sell my knit representation of the Knitting By The Sea logo mermaid... I decided to do it, and I'll be adding other kritters too, like the uber cute octopus! Finally got some new gradients handdyed last week! Yippee!!! Fingering weight wool/mohair/nylon blend, hazes prettily when you start wearing it. They came out prettier than the pictures show, really! Kinda sunrise-like...

Today's sockies, first wearing after only one washing, but very nice! CandySkein's Yummy Fingering, 463yds, 75merino/25nylon, in Blueberry Cobbler, handdyed here in Cali.
