Following up to our June 25th online Townhall, KMR BIPOC commercial clients in the Los Angeles area have been invited to an online forum Tuesday July 7th at 2 PM with their commercial agents. Improving our jobs as representatives and advocates begins with listening and understanding. Those commercial clients of color who have not received an invitation please contact KMR at [email protected]. The conversation continues.
Thank you to the almost 400 clients who gave their time to participate in yesterday’s KMR Townhall. We were enlightened and moved to action by your stories, your challenges and your proposals. Our work ahead as your representatives and advocates has benefited from your honesty. More to come. #KMRTalent

KMR is proud to announce that four agents laid off in the Paradigm purge have found a home at Kazarian/Measures/Ruskin in New York City. Doug Kesten, a 23 year veteran of Paradigm and the head of their Commercial Department, joins KMR’s head of Commercials Tracey Goldblum, who joined KMR from Abrams Artists Agency. Matt Ambrosia, whose 15 year career with Paradigm ended in the layoff, comes aboard with his team (Matt Smith and Liz Klausner) and their top-notch Voice Over rost...er. They join KMR’s current VO agent Jessica Felrice. The Kesten/Goldblum alliance brings together two strong SAG/AFTRA supporters who have championed the effort to bring commercial work lost in recent years back into the union fold. At KMR, the new agents will join an agency already deeply committed to union-only commercial work. KMR President Mark Measures said Tracey and Doug are legends in this business, and I can’t think of a time in my 30-year-career where two agents with this kind of background and powerhouse talent lists have come together in this way and under one roof. At a time of great uncertainty in the industry and with so many people losing their jobs, it is remarkable that four agents of this caliber have found a new home, let alone have found it together. We are thrilled and excited to be able to bring these fantastic agents into our family here at KMR, Measures said. Kazarian/Measures/Ruskin & Associates, founded in 1957 as the Wormser Agency, is one of the oldest agencies in Los Angeles. Their NY office, under the leadership of Senior Vice President Jed Abrahams, continues to grow. Now housing 10 agents and 4 assistants, KMR NY has more than tripled in size since Abrahams took the helm in 2014. See more
The disabled community is one group at high risk from complications due to Covid-19. To help spread the word, KMR clients Marilee Talkington, Blair Williamson, Angel Giuffria, Tobias Forrest, Danny Gomez and other performers with disabilities remotely joined together to create this wonderful public service video produced by John Lawson. #KMRTalent https://vimeo.com/399690803
Within the last 24 hours, we have made the decision to close our LA offices and set up our staff to work remotely. Our talent payment department and the executive team will still be on site, so processing and mailing of all checks will continue unabated. We are reachable via e-mail; should you need to speak to someone right away in Los Angeles our main phone line (818-769-9111) will take you to a menu of departments and from there you can reach one of us. Stay dry, safe and healthy!
KMR clients went all out for the 2019 Toy Drive and we are so thankful! Can’t wait to drop everything off this weekend at the Watts Empowerment Center. http://redeye.org/ KMR will be closing Friday January 20th and re-opening Monday January 6th happy holidays and see you in 2020!
