Mia hasn't had the same attention as the other girls lately, but we finally took our first ride out off the ranch together....rock solid and in good company!

So nice to have sunshine and to get a ride in on Mia! Tried out the bosal....seems to be good...will keep playing/adjusting...

I am so incredibly proud of these Freshman at Etna High School! They have raised $876 for Wounded Warrior Project and are sitting 5th in the nation on this campaign! Please help them reach their next milestone of $1000 in order to provide more services to our Veterans!

Taking some time with this guy as he is very skeptical of things. I think we made a breakthrough today though! He's starting to let go of his braciness in his neck!

I did not realize these 2 had gotten to be such good buddies on the pasture! Beretta came up today to get her feet trimmed, and quite frankly, to go on the hill for a bit of a weight loss program! I think she may be close to Luna's height now!

Another beautiful day! Filming with Luna, a first ride on Smokey, more confidence building with Monroe, and then taught a lesson with Blue before playing with the bull calves!

I don't often get a full day at home to devote to the horses, so really valued today! Cruised on Luna for a lesson (and a jaunt down the lane), played with Smokey and Monroe to continue moving them towards the colt start process, and rode Swift while Amanda rode Blue!

Smokey and Monroe are both here to get started under saddle! After some time to learn the routines around here, we have worked on confidence and yields. Today, I put them in a pen together where they can interact with a few more horses over the fence. I love mixing things up! Also, Smokey is helping Monroe be more confident in her environment, and Monroe is teaching Smokey to be more sensitive and responsive!
