We've had a great time all month highlighting all of the brilliant pups available for adoption with the Valley Oak SPCA. Don't forget VOSPCA gets new arrivals daily and are always needing families to adopt, foster or support the cause. Lydia, Carla, Marie, Matthew, Keyana, Marc and ALL the staff at VOSPCA do such a great job taking care of all the dogs and cats. Go visit the website to see all they have to offer. Our final highlight is not one, but two amazing puppies! Emmanuel and Luis are 10 month old Boxer/Mix and have had an tough recovery. They were in BAD shape when they came to VOSPCA and now they are much improved. Contact the gang at Valley Oak SPCA and check in on the boys! Thanks to everyone that has followed along all month. Tulare County Fire Department wants everyone to have a safe Halloween with these tips. -Use flameless LED candles when possible to light up pumpkins or other de...corations. -Keep decorations away from flames and other sources of heat. -Be sure not to overload your electrical outlets with decorations that light up. -Always read and follow the manufactures recommendations with any decoration. -Be sure to turn off decorative lights at night, or put on a timer to avoid overheating. Also, remember this weekend when you move your clocks back to change the batteries on your smoke & carbon monoxide detectors. #TulareCoFire

Agricultural Fire: Tulare County Fire Department with assistance from Kings County Fire Department, are at scene of a haystack fire in the 6600 block of Avenue ...328, near the community of Goshen. Units arrived on scene to find approximately 1,000 tons of hay fully involved under a pole barn. Fire crews are working to protect exposures next to the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation. See more
