Coronavirus (COVID-19) Prevention and Control Dear Patients, At Agoura Hills Dental Designs, the health and safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. Due to concerns around Coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to assure you that we continue to operate our long-standing sanitation practices and are taking additional precautionary protocols that exceed the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines. We are closely monitoring federal, state and local ag...encies for updates. Although the CDC determined that the health risk of COVID-19 is considered low, we are taking all precautionary measures necessary. Steps we are taking Thorough sanitation is a critical part of our practice’s standard operating procedures. Each exam room is fully cleaned and sanitized using medical grade cleaning solutions in-between all patients. We disinfect and sanitize each area of the office with hospital-grade solution every day. Finally, a professional cleaning team comes through at the end of every day and does an additional deep clean. To add, we are also introducing additional mid-morning and mid-afternoon disinfections as an extra precaution. We have also increased in-office cleaning protocols to ensure that the reception area, pens, doorknobs, and commonly touched objects, are sanitized regularly. We ask that if you are feeling sick, displaying symptoms, or recovering from an illness, please cancel your appointment. Please allow yourself a full chance to heal before rescheduling. We will be waiving our 24 hour cancellation policy for those who are sick. We also kindle request if you have traveled out of the country within the last 4 weeks to reschedule any upcoming appointments until further notice. Steps you can take >Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 30 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol- based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. >Avoiding touching your face, nose, eyes or mouth with unwashed hands. >Avoiding close contact with people who are sick. >Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue.
