A Second Chance on Life is the story of a single mother who struggled with substance abuse for four decades before connecting with the Service League of San Mateo County to address her demons. After giving birth to her third child, Carol immediately enrolled into their life-changing Hope House which provided her with the impetus to rebuild her life. Thanks in large part to the support from the Service League, Carol has completely transformed her life. Over the past 20-years, Carol has rebuilt relationships with all of her children, has a great job at Stanford University, became a homeowner, and serves on the board of directors for the Service League. Carol is a great testament that given a second chance, we can all be productive members of society.

What is Preservation Housing? Preservation Housing is a powerful solution to help address the affordable housing challenges confronted by residents in expensive regions of the country like Silicon Valley. Within the scope of Preservation Housing, an owner is committed to the long-term affordability of the property; deed restricts it as affordable and maintains it as affordable housing for perpetuity. This video tells the story of how HIP Housing has been able to preserve and expand the amount of affordable rental housing in the region. Redwood Oaks is a prime example of how they were able to leverage cross sector partnerships to transform 6 buildings on a single parcel in Redwood City into an incredible jewel for the entire neighborhood.

For the past 20 years Skyline College has been inspiring students to dream out loud through the efforts of the President's Innovation Fund. During this journey, the college introduced the Promise Scholars Program which focuses on making higher education available to all. This holistic scholarship covers the cost of tuition, books, transportation vouchers, and offers dedicated counseling. "A Twenty Year Promise" celebrates the 20th anniversary of the President's Innovation Fund and the power of the Promise Scholars Program. Kingston Media has been partnering with Skyline College since the inception of these programs. We have been producing videos that highlight these transformative programs and show how they have impacted the lives of thousands of students throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

Kingston Media in partnership with National Image Works documented the final 6-months of the historic Bay Meadows Racetrack in 2008. "Last Train From Bay Meadows" provides an up-close and personal, behind-the-scenes perspective of the horse racing industry, as well as an in-depth look at its fascinating history. This segment from the documentary features breathtaking images and poignant interviews as we celebrate this iconic racetrack from San Mateo, California.

Kingston Media in collaboration with KM2 Communications in 2008 produced the award-winning historical documentary, "South San Francisco: From Baden to Biotech". This documentary covers the City's founding, becoming an industrial powerhouse, and then transforming into the biotech capital of the world. In this sequence from the film, Congresswoman Jackie Speier reflects upon her early years growing up in South San Francisco. Jackie grew up in the Parkway Terrace area of South San Francisco and attended the local schools in South San Francisco. Jackie recalls sliding down "Sign Hill" and shopping on Grand Avenue.

Come discover Peninsula at War! San Mateo County’s World War II Legacy Exhibit. Kingston Media in partnership with the San Mateo County Historical Association has produced a 30-second TV commercial to promote this exhibit filled with amazing stories and artifacts. The World War II Legacy Exhibit officially opens on National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, December 7th.

Kingston Media partnered with the City of South San Francisco to create this promotional video. For the past 16 years, Kingston Media has been partnering with police and fire departments throughout the San Francisco Bay Area to educate teenagers on the potentially dangerous consequences of drinking alcohol. The Every 15 Minutes program challenges students to think about drinking, personal safety, and the responsibility of making mature decisions when lives are involved.
