The current forecast for Wildcat country here in Hanford is predicting lots of rain and wind in the coming days, beginning at midnight tonight. We encourage everyone to be prepared and be safe! You might want to wear some rain boots, a rain jacket, and bring an umbrella to school! Also, parents please continue to check your Bloomz for further updates to pick up and drop off, just in case we have to adapt to changing conditions. Be mindful of road conditions as well - the weather service has indicated that some areas may experience localized flooding.

Just a reminder - with the foggy season upon us, we are adjusting our 'regular' Foggy Day Schedule for this very 'unregular' school year. In the event that a Foggy Day Schedule is called: - Busses will not be running morning pick ups - Drop off zones will open at normal times - Attendance will be taken 1 hour later than normal - Drive and transport your children when conditions are safe to do so.... Foggy Day Schedule notifications will continue to be posted by 6:45am on Bloomz, Facebook, KVPT-TV ValleyPBS, or by calling the school at 559-584-4475, option #1.

Just as a reminder, there is no school tomorrow, November 11, in observance of Veteran's Day. "We remember those who were called upon to give all a person can give, and we remember those who were prepared to make that sacrifice if it were demanded of them in the line of duty, though it never was. Most of all, we remember the devotion and gallantry with which all of them ennobled their nation as they became champions of a noble cause." - Ronald Reagan

KRH is partnering with the Kings County Sheriff's Office annual Fill the S.W.A.T. Truck Toy Drive! The toys will be distributed to needy families in our area, and help make their Christmas in an already difficult year, that much brighter! If you can donate any new, unwrapped toys for kids ages 1-16, or any gift wrapping supplies, that would be appreciated! The truck will be in the Loop (east field of campus) on Monday, December 7th, from 7:30a - 9:00a during the morning drop off - your kids may be dropped off here regardless of grade level on that day.

Attention Parents of 4th - 8th grade students: We're making another (hopefully our last) change to pick up and drop off: To all of our parents, we would ask that you arrive no earlier than *5* minutes to your scheduled pick up or drop off - this just leads to longer, stagnant lines. 4th Graders: Drop off is in Zone B (Red). Pickup for Mr. Vatcher's class is in Zone C (Green), Mrs. Brandt is Zone B, Ms. Crone in Zone A (Blue).... 5th Graders: Drop off and pick up is in Zone B. 6th Graders: Drop off and pick up is in Zone A. 7th & 8th Grade: Drop off and pick up will be in the Loop (grassy field on the east side of campus). Effective Monday, November 9, 2020.

Attention 2nd Grade Parents: We are changing the pickup zone's for your students; trying to ease up on the traffic congestion. 2nd Grade will be split up for PICK UP (drop off will remain the same): - Mrs. Marshall's class will be in Zone A (blue) - Mrs. Domingos' class will be in Zone B (red) - Mr. Price's class will be in Zone C (green)... Again, it would be VERY helpful for all of our parents to not arrive earlier than their appointed time.
