New Beers 2 collabs w/ some brands that we've. After Surf (session) IPA - Collab w/ @bodyglove - mosaic, citra, azacca hopped, tropical / citrus flavor and aroma, mild bitter finish. Perfect After Surf beer (speaking of which, who caught #HermosaBeach today? Best waves of 2020). Old Pal Ale - light, easy drinking, hang out beer. A refreshing beverage for when you might be partaking of some other substances. Look for more info on these collaboration projects soon, but for now the beer is ready for you to pick up at all 3 tasting rooms this weekend.

When we can't decide what to put on the specials board we let a 3 year old figure it out. New beers and a lot of squiggly lines coming soon.

Pre-Orders for our DIY Beer Floats go live tomorrow at noon. These delicious concoctions are brought to you in collaboration with our friends from @inkcandc & @kanshacreamery . First round of pre-orders are for Thursday Oct 8th pickup (4-8pm). Please make sure you are able to pick up. We don't have a freezer and the ice cream will melt! *KH staff will be forced to consume any kits left behind.

Looks like some good news flowing our way. Fingers crossed LA Health follows through this week!

Electro-light an experimental light beer w/ lemon zest, hibiscus, and electrolytes. Refreshing and replenishing. We originally brewed this as a special batch for the Redondo Beach Superbowl 5k/10k. Crush a 20 mile bike ride, a 6 mile run, or paddle around PV then grab a growler of Electrolight to celebrate. You deserve it!

LA county board of supervisors and LA county health need to make changes to the unfair restrictions on breweries ASAP. This may be the way we have to address the issue.

What makes Thunder Island peach sour ale so damn delicious? Glad you asked. The Sourvisiae yeast contains a single genetic modification, a lactate dehydrogenase gene from a food microorganism, which enables the yeast to produce high levels of lactic acid, the main compound that gives sour beers their flavor. We had real peach puree (not that fake flavoring crap) during fermentation and the final result is total awesomeness.

Available today Thunder Island sour peach ale. Sourvisiae yeast gives a wildly tart base for the peach puree. Like liquid Peach-Os. Remember digging change out of your parents couch cushions to go score a bag at the local mi-T-mart? Hell yea, we do.
