Dear Kind Patients, In accordance with California Bay Area's extended shelter-in-place order and the latest federal government recommendation, we want to reach out to let you know that we will continue to do our part to help flatten the curve, and help keep our patients and the community safe during this time. Our temporary office closure has been tentatively extended to AT LEAST May 1, 2020, to keep in step with local and national recommendations. Please understand that thi...s is a fluid situation and that this may be subject to change based on the latest recommendations by the government. This decision is very difficult for us as we'll miss seeing all of you in the office during this temporary closure. We will continue to update you as soon as we get more updates. We will be calling you in the next week to check in with you. At this time, all appointments through May 1 will be cancelled and will not be rescheduled until we are more confident of a date when we can re-open safely. As new updates and guidelines come in about the management of COVID 19, it may change our office closure. If your scheduled appointment falls between these periods of time, we will call you to reschedule accordingly. Thank you for your patience during this unprecedented time. The California Dental Association has recommended that non-urgent dental care be temporarily suspended for the next 14 days in response to the global Coronavirus pandemic. At Kind Orthodontics, the health and safety of our patients and our community is our top priority. In exercising an abundance of caution, our office will be closed March 16 to March 30. If you have an upcoming appointment during this time frame, you will be contacted to reschedule your appointment. We hope everyone and their families stay safe and healthy! **Update to post: we have extended the temporary office closure until April 6** Dear Kind Orthodontics Patients, We are facing an unprecedented time with the COVID-19 pandemic, which has led to school closures, and the CDC recommending social distancing.... At Kind Orthodontics, the health and safety of our patients is always our top priority. We always adhere to the best infection control guidelines, but we want to do more to help contain the spread of this virus in order to protect our patients and families. In exercising an abundance of caution during this time and following the strong recommendation from the California Dental Association (CDA), we have made the decision to close our office for three weeks, from March 16, 2020 to April 6, 2020, and temporarily suspend all non-emergent orthodontic services. We will continue to monitoring the evolving situation, but at the moment, we anticipate we will resume seeing patients on April 7. If you have any appointments scheduled during our three-week closure, we will call you to reschedule. As always, please know that if you have anything to discuss, we’re a phone call or e-mail away.
