Dear Patients: We have missed you and all of your warm smiles! We are excited to announce that we will officially be reopening our office effective June 1, 2020. We want to thank our patients who came in for their dental appointments during our soft opening last week, we were elated to see you! In the time that the Shelter in Place has been in effect, we have seen a surge in dental emergencies. We have also seen the effects of putting off dental treatments, which have resu...lted in an increase of dental health complications, such as root canals and abscesses. Due to this, it is of utmost importance that we continue to deliver the care our patients need. If you had an appointment that was cancelled due to the Shelter in Place order, please contact our office to reschedule your appointment. Our staff is working hard to contact all of those patients whose appointments were cancelled. In case we haven't had the opportunity to reach you, please call us, we would love to hear from you! You will see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We have included easy to follow guidelines on what to expect at your next appointment. We recommend bringing your own sunglasses for eye protection and a blanket or sweater as our office is a bit chillier these days to keep our staff cool in their enhanced Personal Protective Equipment. We are excited to share with you the different appointment options available to our patients: 1. Family Friendly Schedule: Convenient family appointments to keep you safe and minimize your exposure to others. 2. Combined Orthodontic and Cleaning Appointments: Convenient, dedicated times and days for our orthodontic patients to get their dental cleanings and treatment done, saving you an extra trip to our office. 3. At-Risk/Age 65+ Appointments: We have dedicated appointment times to ensure the safety of our At-Risk patients. Another thing done on our check list! After a long period of not using our waterline system, biofilm (a thin, slimy film of bacteria) can build up in our waterline system. We cleaned and shocked our waterline system. Our water tested at less than 200 CFU/ml range. We are ready to see patients.

Smile Dental Center proudly hosted a N95 respirator fit test for local dental offices. Together we make our community stronger. Ensuring the safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. Our staff participated in enhanced PPE training as well as the N95 respirator fit testing. They tried their best to keep a straight face while watching their co-workers in action. Luckily, we were able to snap a picture.
