Welcome back parents and children! We were so excited to see so many faces we have missed so much during our closure. This morning went very smoothly and we are so thankful for the cooperation and understanding we have received from our families and staff. Our day in the classroom looked a little different with social distancing going on and classrooms rearranged, but there was still lots of learning, smiles, and routine and reassurance going on as students and teachers adjus...ted to our new normal, for now. Circle times this morning included discussions, modeling, and answering questions about social distancing, masks, and other changes we have now adopted in our classrooms in order to help children better understand and adjust. We would like to thank all of the families again for being so understanding and cooperative, and we will definitely be sharing daily updates through Facebook, Remind, and Instagram so be sure to follow!"

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."-MLK
Our children in the Pre-K classroom love STEAM challenges .
Thank you teachers, children, and parents for such an amazing show. We are so proud.
The children love Taekwondo just one of the many free enrichment programs we offer at Kids Adventure. Taekwondo teaches self discipline and self control by teaching difficult forms and kicks that require intense focus, training, and devotion in order to learn well and to master. Taekwondo also requires you to be precise in your movements which takes alot of control.
Turkey donuts. Sensory play includes any activity that stimulates your young child's senses: touch, smell, taste, movement, balance, sight and hearing. Sensory activities facilitate exploration and naturally encourage children to use scientific processes while they play, create, investigate and explore.
In today’s fast-paced, technology-driven society, teaching children manners is something that is more crucial than ever. It is important to help children develop social skills, show them how to interact in a polite manner with people, and teach them to treat others with respect. Part of Kids Adventure’s curriculum this week is teaching good manners, here are some photos of our tea party we had today, we dressed up and practiced our good manners.
Increased movement and physical activity does create healthy habits and has numerous benefits for the child. It helps improve confidence, self-esteem and also in developing healthier social, cognitive, and emotional skills. It also helps in building strength, self-confidence, concentration, and coordination from an early age.
Kids Adventure Learning Center Pre k class using STEAM in their everyday curriculum. Technology is all around us and is rapidly progressing each day. These STEAM activities not only promote a STEAM discipline, but also help prepare a child for their future and the types of skills they will need in their everyday lives.
