Hey friends! A quick update on our reopening plans. Our tentative reopen date is officially May 1, 2021. We are currently awaiting equipment and new supplies to ensure that we are in full compliance with government health regulations. We are also in the process of updating the space to accommodate our Kiddos 101 families in a way that does not restrict the opportunities to Think. Teach. Learn. Play. Thank you for your continued support and patience as we navigate this new terrain. We hope to see you all very soon. Stay safe and know that you are loved.
One year ago today we announced our closure due to the pandemic. And on this day in 2021, we are excited to announce that we will be reopening to the public sometime in April. We haven’t finalized our reopen date, yet. There are some logistical adjustments we are working through and some updates to the space that need to happen, but we are getting close! Please continue to follow us for updates. We want to thank everyone for the love and support you’ve given us during our closure. It hasn’t been easy, but we made it through the worst and are excited to, once again, provide a safe and secure environment for children to think, teach, learn, and play! Please feel free to like, tag, and share with your friends. We all need this and are more than ready for it.
Something some of us might be able to relate to as parents. Stay safe and healthy and remember that our kids need us to be at our best right now.You got this!
Happy Easter everyone! We hope you were able to make it special. These days will be over soon, but we’ve done our best to make special memories during this time. We took the kids to the shop today for an egg hunt and some Easter goodies. We are grateful that we can still take our kids there, but it’s just not the same without you guys. We look forward to the day when we all get to spend time together again.
Just me thinking out loud. As a business owner, this current course of action has put Kiddos 101 in jeopardy ofafter nearly 5 yearspotentially having to close. We have applied for every available avenue of assistance but waiting for funding is excruciating. Thank you for supporting us financially, with words of encouragement, and prayer. It is truly appreciated. As parents and spouses Larissa and I have tried to make the best of this situation, albeit it’s not always smoo...th sailing. However, through this pandemic, we’ve been reminded that all our kiddos want is OUR attention. To play. We’ve had to be creative. Also, it has given Larissa and myself time to talk, real talk, about the priorities in our life. We miss our family, friends, and our community and soon the controlled chaos of life will resume. As do all things, this too shall pass. It’s inevitable. For the teachers that will not cease to mold future generations via whatever means necessary, law enforcement that continue to put in work despite the pandemic, medical personnel that continue to facilitate recovery, first responders that are still responding... God bless you and your families, answering the call of duty selflessly on the frontlines. Appreciating the value within my life is my takeaway from all this craziness. We will be back! See you all real soon... in person. Julius
For those of you with students.
We miss everyone so much!! Sound off! How is everyone getting on???
Candle light vigil tonight in downtown Riverside from 4pm-6pm. We will post the flyer in the comments. Riverside residents and law enforcement have been amazing through this tense time. We stand with our black community as we believe that ALL American citizens should feel that their lives matter and know that they are equally protected in our country.
In case you haven’t started bear hunting, this is happening this week! Such a fun way to love on each other, build community, and support the kids. Also a great way to practice counting, colors, and make observations, while getting fresh air and having fun! We are loving all the creative, outside of the box ways, people are coming up with to enjoy life in these different times!. . . . .... #bearhunt #earlychildhoodeducation #community See more
As a Veteran owned business, we would be remiss to not wish everyone a Happy Memorial Day. Today we remember our friends who made the ultimate sacrifice protecting our American liberties. Enjoy your day and the freedom that you have been given. We look forward to serving you all again. Until then, stay safe.
New concepts for what schools could do as they continue figuring out how to serve our children.
This applies to parents, too. Hang in there, friends. Grateful for a plan that was laid out for us by the governor today even though we won’t be able to open back up right away. We are still here and are making plans for the time when we can open our doors again!!
For your quarantine amusement...
