We just won an ADA lawsuit. This guy tried to sue one of our clients. We took it to trial!
What is the hardest part of getting a GreenCard? 1. Getting Married? 2. Filing the Paper Work? 3. Passing the Interview?... 4. Maintaining your relationship and getting the 10 year greencard? My answer is all four are hard, but the Interview is the hardest. This January we had many people in Interviews. I personally prepared everyone of them. They all passed. It was a great month for us. We video conference over Viber or call on the phone. We can even appear at the consul with you.
FOR GREENCARD HOLDERS: One question I get all the time from people who have a greencard is: How long can I stay in Cambodia? There are two reasons for not overstaying in Cambodia or anywhere else. 1. They may take your Greencard away because you do not live in the United States.... 2. You lose your credit to get Citizenship. This is an easy answer. But there are two parts: Part 1: COUNT EACH YEAR Each year you must spend over HALF of the year in the United States. They count this by days. They do not usually include travel days as you start in the United States or end up in the United States. Half of a year is 182 days. The safe way is to not stay outside the United States more than 175 days a year. I recommend that you stay in the United States for 190 days a year. Part 2: COUNT FOR 5 YEARS There are 1822 days in a 5-year span. Do not stay more than 900 days outside the United States in 5 years. To be safe, I recommend staying inside the United States 922 days over any 5 year period. Again, if you reside in the United States you must spend more time inside the United States than outside the United States. Do not get any closer than the numbers I recommend. If you have any questions about this let me know. See more

The fiancé and marriage interviews at Phnom Penh are very difficult. There many reasons the Consular officers deny so many cases. Cultural differences between the Officer and the applicant are easy to blame. But there are also cultural differences between Husband and Wife that fail many people. Many of these issues can be fixed. It is easier to fix problems before the interview. My office has hundreds of approvals. Let me prepare you for the toughest test you will ever take ...before your interview. Once you are denied by the consul, what do you? Call me and let me help you decide. And help you get an approval.
I am hearing from many people on how difficult it is to get married in Cambodia. If you have a horror story about trying to get married in Cambodia and you are a US Citizen, I want to hear about it. Drop me a message so we can compare notes.
Even the best husband and wife team can fail at a Visa or Greencard interview. Here is an example: Consular/Immigration Officer Question: "When is the last time you went to Temple or Church?" Wife: "Never. We never go to Church or Temple."... Husband: "Last week. We went to Temple." Who is right? They both are. Yes, both are right. Last week the couple went to a wedding. The wedding was at a Church or Temple. They did not attend the Church/Temple for a service at the place. They went to a wedding. So technically, both are correct. What is the result? The Consular/Immigration officer denies the case for obvious fraud. One said yes. The other said no. The simplest case of fraud the officer has seen all week. Don't let this happen to you. I will personally prepare you for your interview so that you are not going to be so easily denied.
Did you fall in love? Is your sweetie is an American Citizen? Is your sweetie is going to petition for you to live in America? Have you updated your FB status? It should say "In a relationship with my sweetie/petitioner." What does your sweetie's status say? It needs to be updated too.... If it doesn't point to you then your greencard may never come.
Getting your 2 year green card is just the first step. You have to get ready to get your 10 year green card immediately. Keep saving your documents. Keep taking family photo's. Get ready for your 10 year greencard filing before it is time to file. If you are having trouble with your spouse and you do not think your marriage will survive until you get your 10 year green card, you can still have a chance, even if you go alone to get the green card. But, you have to prepare.... Get ready now. Do not wait. Call me if you have any questions about immigration. Solange Kea (562)489-1780
Cambodian's are getting denied at an alarming rate at the Phnom Penh Consulate. We can change that. If you know anyone who is denied a visa in Phnom Penh, have them contact us. We want to know why and we want to fix the problem.
