KFI Showjumping

Fantastic day at Global Sporthorse Stables schooling show. Gretchen won the .65 & .70 jumpers at her first jumper show riding Takota putting in 2 beautiful rounds. Melody Hernandez won the .75 & .80 jumpers with 2 smooth clean rounds. Jill at her very first show piloted Sampson to 2 second place finishes in the .60 and .65 jumpers with a couple of well ridden rounds. Jessica Soares rode Denny to 2 clean rounds in the .85 & .90 jumpers, and Wendy Patten rode Modena to 2 clean very well ridden rounds in the 1.10m jumpers. (Don't know how they placed) Anyways, it was a great day at a fun show, great footing, nice jumps and great atmosphere.

Beautiful weekend at Galway Downs for the North County Inland Horse Show. Great weather, lovely courses, and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Amanda Dewey and Tigger at their first show together were very consistent and smooth all weekend putting in efficient clean rounds earning top ribbons. George Van Valkenburg not only showed for the first time in 11 years, he showed his own horse Ches in his first classes ever! They finished up the weekend putting in some smooth confident rounds. Everybody had a good time and learned a lot. Thank you to Christopher Wilson for putting on a great show, to Wendy for all the help at the show and to Stella for holding down the fort at home.

So grateful to have Vanessa Corene out to work on the horses tonight! Can’t wait to have her back, the horses loved her!!!
