At HyForce Small Group Sessions we cover all aspects of fitness in order for you to drop body fat, get lean, stronger, & perform better through boxing & boxing inspired strength training! In 30 minutes you are putting more muscular & cardio effort than you normally would in a 60+ min session This means you'll burn more calories for a longer period of time post workout aka AFTERBURN Or EPOC ... The way we implement resistance training with boxing is in a way where we preserve muscle mass, focus on burning fat, & build lasting endurance Small group sessions are capped at 4 people. All workouts are individualized so you get plenty of Mittwork & attention. Sessions are half hour long which make it more cost effective and allow you to train more often. Stairs are great to build muscular & cardio endurance On top of that you will see your quads & hamstrings tone up... and you can burn several hundred calories! What To Do on days you’re not training with me: In order to gain & maintain results, you have to train 3-4 times per week .. especially when it comes to boxing because sooo much skill is involved which means you need repetition Whether we train 1 time per week, a few times per month, or every day you should follow this sheet for your off days ... CARDIO Go for a jog & see how far you can go in 20-25 mins. You don’t have to go fast, go as best as you can, and then keep beating your personal bests each time You can also jump rope & shadow box for 3 minute rounds with :30 second breaks You can run stairs or incline walking too.. all up to you & your abilities STRENGTH Dumbbell, Kettlebell, Bands Pick 2 upper body exercises, 2 lower body exercises. Get 2 sets of work in for each. I put 20-25 reps, but go until you get close to failure. Don’t max out CORE Static core exercises are great to build strength in the deep parts of our core. Do planks for time. I suggest 3 sets of :15-:30 seconds where you’re squeezing every muscle in your body You can do other core exercises for time like penguins, scissor kicks, mountain climbers, etc. If you want to get lean, stay lean, be strong, have great endurance, recover faster, and set yourself to do better every session, then you need to put in the extra work outside of Hyforce! #BUILTBYMOOSE

Train -> Recover > Adapt -> Train Harder . Repeat When you train, whether by yourself or with a coach, you should train to the intensity that you can recover from You should not always go full on intensity & break yourself every single workout... Some workouts will feel harder than others Some workouts will feel easier than others The goal is to adapt to your fitness level, recover from that consistently, and then you increase the difficulty, the duration, and intensity level as time goes on This stuff is not easy which is why I’m so positive towards all of you for every little improvement you make The fact that you throw on a pair of gloves & say fuck it, let’s do this separates you from most of the crowd already So, don’t always think going hard for 60-minutes is always the solution to get results.. it’s not Although I do 60-min sessions, that’s why it’s split up into segments so you’re more well rounded in fitness On the same token, this is why 30-minute sessions can be the sweet spot. It’s a new month, so I came up with some health & nutrition tips to help you get your goals set up for October & beyond! -Protein is a thermogenic. The more protein you consume, the more calories your body is going to build & the likelihood you’re going to store more muscle. The more muscle you have, the more calories your body burns! -Eating Real, whole Foods instead of processed foods will save you almost a pound weekly ... -Prioritizing sleep is essential for recovery & results. If you are consistently stressed out, your body will want to go into more of a survival mode. This means your body will want to get comfy & store more fat. Getting more sleep can help you prevent gaining fat -Squeeze in some 10 min walks daily. This gets your heart rate up, gets your body working to digest food, reduces stress, & burns extra calories -Always hydrate. A good rule of thumb is drinking at least half of your bodyweight in ounces of water daily Since were only able to train 1-3 times per week, that leaves a lot of time that I’m not around to hold you accountable, so this should help you crush your goals!
