Dall Sheep AK 2020 - We just returned from Alaska where we completed a marathon hunt that is one for the books. This hunt tested us mentally and physically like nothing we have done before. In 10 days we hiked over 90 miles and climbed 27,000 verticalfeet. We covered our unit edge to edge peaking in every basin along the way. We glassed up over 150 sheep with only 4 rams needing a closer look. Each of which turned out to be 6 or 7 years old. Although we are extremely disappo...intedthat our first dall sheep hunt did not end up with either of us taking a ram I can'thelp but reflect on the entiretyof the hunt itself and how the 6 of us through all the misery and suffering had so much fun along the way. We stayed motivated and energized day after day and are literally counting down the days until the next one.@mission_alaska Austin - Our fearless leader and guide - you are as genuine and good as they come.
