Pro Tip: Do whatever you need to get your camera at eye level. This is a photo of a shoe rack. I'm in the middle of building furniture for a better setup but I had to stop and attend a Zoom meeting to answer questions for my upcoming course at Sonoma State University. Do what you've gotta do but get that camera to eye level, it's more flattering and feels more natural for the viewer.
