Dr. Bui (pronounced boo-ee") grew up right here in Bakersfield. He attended William Penn Elementary, Greenfield Jr. High and then graduated from South High School as Valedictorian in 1992. Dr. Bui graduated from UCLA medical school in 1999. He spent an additional eight years of general surgery residency, vascular and endovascular fellowship at Harbor-UCLA. He is both boarded in general, vascular and endovascular surgery. He scored above 90th percentile on his boards. Dr. Bui returned to Bakersfield to practice in 2007 and had since started Kern Vascular Center with the aspiration to provide top-notch comprehensive vascular care to his hometown. On a more personal note, Dr. Bui loves to travel internationally on medical missions such as Project Vietnam and Hackett Hemwall Foundation Honduras Venous Ulcers.
