Our drive through COVID-19 testing will only be every Wednesday for the month of October. Testing starts at 7:00 and ends at 2:00. There is no charge to those wishing to get tested. The testing site is no longer located in the parking lot of the hospital. It is now located on Birch in Mountain Mesa next door to Mountain View Health.... Take McCray Rd. to Dogwood, make a left and then left on Birch.

For Immediate Release Lake Isabella, California September 29, 2020 Kern Valley Hospital in partnership with Kern County began community testing the week of May 25. The information provided below only captures the positive tests results that have come from our drive thru testing facility. Results through September 4, 2020. Just a reminder, we are only testing on Wednesdays from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. The test site is now located at 4308 Birch, Mountain ...Mesa. We will have signage out by the street. The easiest way to enter would be McCray Rd., to Dogwood make a left and another left onto Birch. The building is next door to Mountain View Health Center. , No appointments will be necessary. This is a drive-thru testing site and you will stay in your car and wait for staff to direct you to pull up. We ask that you put your car in park once you are in position for testing. Please inform our staff if you are experiencing symptoms. We want to remind you this test is at no cost to our community and we encourage those who wish to test to take advantage of this opportunity. We remind everyone to continue washing your hands often and avoid touching your face, practice social distancing and wear a face- mask. See more
