While this is NOT a typical disease we see in San Diego, we are seeing an unusual increase in these lately. If your dog is not feeling well, please have him/her examined, and tested if appropriate. If you tend to frequent areas where other dogs spend much time (parks etc) the vaccine is a good idea. While we have not historically recommended this vaccination (we didn't really 'need' it here), that has changed. As there is a risk of spreading to other animals and to people, avoid direct contact with urine.

Independence Day Kittens! We have two amazing kittens looking for indoor only homes. They have been raised with their Mom and siblings and are 8 weeks old and ready for a family of their own. "Hank the Tank" (black and white kitten) is exceedingly outgoing & playful once he warms up to you. ... "Sharkey" (all black kitten) is a cuddler & playful, once again after he gets to know you. They have been raised in a home with other cats, dogs, birds, kids & people - they have been well socialized! Adopt a SKUNK.... We have an adorable male kitten, approximately 10 weeks old up for adoption. This cute boy is loving and playful and has a white stripe down his back! He was dropped off at our office, ill and severely underweight. He is now healthy & ready for adoption to an indoor only home. This is very cool. Their success rate is better than the current covid diagnostic tests, and after only a week of training. Yes!!
