The city of Paris has always inspired my work and now it inspires me with resilience. It's been special to watch its journey of restoration. Designing my holiday decorations to mix easily into my home, I like crisp white lights, the scent of fresh pine, and lots of gold, silver, and metallic elements. Thank you to everyone who participated in our #ShowMeYourTable campaign! To recap, in October, Sallie of @GreyhuntInteriors & I hosted an IG Live that showcased our holiday tablescapes, while discussing the importance of creating beauty during the most unique and challenging holiday season of our lives. The goal with our charitable initiative, having you post your tablescapes with the tag #ShowMeYourTable, was to elevate the soul and spirit, emphasizing creatively coming together around a "virtual table" in spite of it all. Throughout the last two months, we've been tallying up your posts and together we have donated $2.5K to @FeedingAmerica! Thank you to everyone for the support in helping families to have hot meals for Thanksgiving. During these times especially, remember to keep on spreading that love!

#Thankful for my boys, for their love and for all that motherhood has blessed me with. In this fragile year, may we hold especially tight to those in our lives who fill us with such warmth... It reins true that it’s who we have, not what we have that matters. Wishing you all gratitude, strength and good health on this Thanksgiving, and always.

After 100 years of legendary greatness, we say goodbye to our beloved Cecilia Chang. She was a mentor, a friend, the type of empowering woman that I have always aspired to be. Her story was one of true inspiration, one that will forever encourage us to strive for more and never put a limit on our dreams. I will treasure my memories with her and strive to lead by her example. Cheers to you, Cecilia. May you rest in power.

A virtual take on #Friendsgiving2020 Sallie of @GreyHuntInteriors and I have set our tables with similar tableware to help create a unified feeling of togetherness this holiday season. As you can see here, we chose fabrics from my new line with @Fabricut to design dining linens like placemats, napkins and runners. Having to be separated this year due to COVID, this is a great solution for friends and family to try as well. After battling cancer for several years, our beloved Phillip has passed away. A designer for nearly four-decades, Phillip Silver practiced his timeless aesthetic joining us at KWD as a Principal Designer in 2017. During his time here, he lead some of our most beautiful designs to date, such as the penthouse and amenities level in 181 Fremont featured in Architectural Digest, and our recent Tahoe Lake House project featured in CA Home + Design. A native Australian, h...is seasoned expertise working all over the world brought eclectic authenticity to his trade. "Design is my passion. I appreciate all good design, regardless of style or period, it's the detail, balance, craftsmanship and quality of objects and spaces that truly draw me in." Phillip, thank you for everything. This birthday definitely looks different from the rest in a time full of such loss; I am especially grateful for all of the love and thoughtful words being sent my way today. I am embracing this new year ahead with positivity and hope. My wish is for more balance, more healing, and more of an abundance of integral happiness, healthiness, and compassion. We contrasted the table setting with deep eggplant purples for this glamorous dining room, says designer Kendall Wilkinson. Eggplant linen napkins bound with purple agateand brass-rings set off the jewel-toned theme.
