On Tuesday, September 25th, 46 Kelso students boarded a luxury bus and headed to the WSS shoe store and corporate headquarters in Lomita. They were welcomed by a DJ and L.A. Chargers players, who helped fit the students with new shoes, socks and a backpack filled with goodies. Five students from each 3rd - 6th grade classroom were selected in recognition of their exceptional representation of Kelso's PRIDE core values. [ 29 more words ] http://kelso.myiusd.net/?p=1759

You’re Invited! Our Neighborhood Community Door-Knocking March is Saturday, March 17th! IUSD has scheduled many events and is participating in multiple initiatives to transform the district. The Community March is one activity, scheduled in phases based on geographic location, which will be extended to all school locations. During the March, we are focusing on Oak, Crozier and Inglewood High School. We need your help to spread the word on all of the new opportunities in IUS...D. We tell our story best and it must be shared with the community. These outreach campaigns will help to raise our profile, create a positive image and attract students to the district. I hope you can come! If you would like to add anything to our gift bags that we are providing to our community, please drop off items at the Inglewood Unified School District or send to 401 S. Inglewood Ave. Inglewood, Ca. 90305. Can you spare 2 hours on Saturday morning? If so, please RSVP so we can know who is coming! Dress comfortable and wear your tennis shoes! Morning refreshments, water and a light lunch will be available, but you need to RSVP!
