We were going to go to the Gelson’s across the street from the Trader Joe’s in Silver Lake where this deadly shooting happened on the day of the shooting. We decided to order Instacart instead and have food delivered that day. That’s when we saw the shooting footage on tv. My heart aches for the victims and my neighbors who had to experience that horrible situation as hostages. Life is so precious and every moment is an opportunity to show kindness to our fellow humans. Let’s show up more for each other and be kinder to one another.
