Porch sitting was once considered to be a status symbol. As well as being an excellent way to connect with neighbors, it also is an important form of community security, helping to prevent crime. It’s almost Easter, y’all, and that means gathering with family around the table. At least that’s what it meant in my family. I would give anything for one more Easter Supper (I’m southern, and that’s what we call dinner there) at my Nanny and Papaw Ross’. I thought these settings were too cute not to share. I’ll never do anything like this because I just don’t have that capability of cuteness. What are some of your #eastertraditions ? I’m not going to lie, #easteregghunting was my absolute favorite, and my cousin and I would hide the plastic eggs all year round because we loved it so much. And nanny’s didn’t have cable, so things could get rather dull. . . . Please, if you’re someone who goes the extra mile and does anything like this, invite me over. I’ll bring a pie.
