Infared Sauna! There’s tons of research out there now on the benefits of Sauna use, on Far Infared/Near Infared, Heat Shock Proteins/Hormesis through Extreme Temp exposure/Photobiomodulation/ etc. I won’t get into all of it on this post and bore you with all of the science. ... But I love playing with all of it & I regularly alternate between cold exposure and heat exposure alongside my daily workouts. Both, For the additional aid they provide in recovery, but and sometimes only for the sole benefits and advantages they provide. There are recent reports demonstrating that spending regular time in a sauna may help cardiac health and extend lifespan. Growth Hormone increase of over 200% is another research shown benefit of two 20min sessions separated by a 30min cool down. There was also a study conducted by the Journal of Human Kinetics that showed an increase in white blood cells, lymphocyte, neutrophil and basophil count after Sauna use, indicating a boost in the immune system. So if you’re fighting off a cold or flu right now, hitting the sauna may not be such a bad idea! You can see my love’s face in the glass, she loves this stuff too! Pretty sure I was sweating out Matcha Green Tea in there, thanks to @vitalproteins & @dan.the.trainer It’s literally all I drink now, besides water.
